Starting Patients on NovoLog®

How is NovoLog® different?

NovoLog® has a rapid onset and short duration of action. So, you may take it 5 to 10 minutes before a meal, rather than the typical 30 minutes required with regular human insulin.

With this flexible dosing regimen, you and your doctor may adjust your insulin to accommodate variety in your eating and activity patterns. Many people find this dosing schedule flexible and convenient.

NovoLog® , your trusted insulin analog, has been approved for use in pumps since 2001. That's good news if you are already using, or contemplating using, an insulin.
